Of course the Indian ancestry is possible. However, if I only had a dollar for every unauthenticated story I have heard about Indian Princesses and Indian ancestry I would be quite wealthy. ;) It seems that at one time--just before the turn of the century in the late Victorian era, it was quite the fad to romanticize one's family history with exciting tales of American Indian ancestry. Some of these stories are no doubt true, but the problem comes in identifying the truth from the "embellishments." Joan
