Eleanor, yes there is a wonderful Henckel book. Unfortunately it is currently out of print. You are correct in stating that you are not technically a Henckel descendant due to the fact that you descend from Valentine Geiger's SECOND marriage and not from his first marriage to Rev. Henckel's daughter. However, the book includes the descendants of this line as well as the ones from the first marrage. The Henckel book is every bit as much of a Geiger book as it is a Henckel book in my opinion and is a very valuable resource. The Henckel Family Association is alive and well and very active and they have a Henckel Bulletin which contains updates on the various branches of this large family.
