As I am sure you will learn from MANY MANY cousins on this list your ancester Jordan Geiger/Giger, son of Joseph Geiger/Giger, was (surprise, surprise) NOT the son of another Moses Geiger. His parents were John Giger and Susannah Creek. Also, his father was NOT born in Germany but in Lancaster County, PA. He was the son of Johan George Geiger and Barbara Kline/Klein. George Geiger was the son of Christian Geiger and his second wife Anna Maria Esskuchin. We have lots and lots of information on this Geiger family. Christian Geiger arrived in America on the ship Charming Nancy in 1737 and settled in Warwick Township, Lancaster County, PA. Perhaps the best way for you to get acquainted with this family would be to visit the Christian Geiger Website that Russ Kyger has put together at the following address: Christian Geiger genealogy Also, if you would like to contact me privately I would be happy to tell about a book that is available about this particular Giger family descending from George Giger, son of Christian.
