I vote for Gerry Gieger, as a direct descendant of Jesse GIEGER/GEIGER and Tobitha MARTIN and as a superior genealogist, to have the book. I know he would treasure it and willingly share information with others. I wonder where that "kidnapped in Hamburg, Germany" came from, though. We have established that Abraham GEIGER (marr. Mercy MARTIN) and his brother Felix GEIGER (marr. her sister Mary MARTIN) were sons of Hans Ulrich GEIGER, who came over from Switzerland as a child, with his parents, Abraham GEIGER and Catharina SCHELLIG, and his uncle, Hans Jacob GEIGER (former cantonal governor), and others. They are all in the records there. And we believe that the sisters were Tobitha's aunts. But is it fact .. or family lore .. that James MARTIN'S wife was also a MARTIN?! Gerry has been trying very hard to sort out the MARTIN lines and learn where they came from, but it hasn't been easy!
