This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Geiger/Martin/Bennett/Clanton Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/JOY.2ACEB/917.2.1 Message Board Post: Dear Anne, Thanks so much for all your correspondence - Ironically, Vinie or Lavivia Geiger Clanton (1830-1910) and the daughter of Lucy Bennett before she died very young - some suggest in childbirth??? and the wife of Charles W. Clanton, were my gg grandparents. My g grandmother was Lucy Corneilia Clanton, who married Dr. J.J. Kennedy of Tatnall County and my grandfather was Donald Bennett Kennedy and my mother is his daughter, That is my relation to the Geigers. Any thing else you care to write my way, would be greatly appreciated - all this is very interesting. I knew that Lucinda "Lucy" Bennett Geiger's husband re-married once, but apparently twice and I had no idea that some of the younger boys of the approximately 15!!!! children he had - were Civil War casualties!!! Thanks again for everything! Have a great Holiday and New Year - -Nancy
