For example John Ammon born June 28, 1755 married Elizabeth Jane Geiger. The book on the Geigers of Geigertown by Annie Rettew Hunter lists this John Ammon as the son of George Ammon, but the copy I have has that name "George" crossed out and "Philip" written in for his name. A note on the front of the copy states that the book was reviewed by Anna Honch Witmar and that the notes are in her handwriting. Joan
