I would like to share our family bible with you. The bible dates from 1847 and I believe was owned by James Geiger. Marriages: James Geiger and Elizabeth Hoyer were married on the ninth day of January A.D. 1849 John L. Geiger and Anna Bell were married on the first day of May A.D. 1888 Births: James Geiger son of Jacob and Susanna Geiger was born on the 7th day of February 1825 and was baptized December 29th, 1861. Elizabeth, daughter of Samuel and Susanna Hoyer, now intermarried with James Geiger, was born on the 13th day of November A.D. 1819 Jacob Theodore son of James and Elizabeth Geiger was born on the 27th day of November A.D. 1849 was baptized May 1st, 1853. John Luther, son of James and Elizabeth Geiger was born on the 12th day of January A.D. 1853 and was baptized May 1st, 1853. Lewis Albert, son of James and Elizabeth Geiger was born on the 3rd day of December A.D. 1856 and was baptized June1, 1861. James Mabery Geiger, son of John L. and Anna Geiger was born on the 9th day of November A.D. 1888. Arnold L. Geiger, son of John L. and Anna Geiger was born on the 31st day of January 1890. Mary Elizabeth, daughter of John L. and Anna Geiger was born on the 18th day of January 1891. Allice Mae, daughter of John L. and Anna Geiger was born on the 27th day of November 1892. John Thomas, son of John L. and Anna Geiger was born on the 20th day of January 1894. Sarah Maud, daughter of John L. and Anna Geiger was born on the 22nd day of July 1895. William, son of John L. and Anna Geiger was born on the 24th day of December 1896. Jennie Hellen, daughter of John L. and Anna Geiger was born on the 28th day of March 1898. Deaths: Elizabeth Geiger died September 5th, 1879. James Geiger died January 2nd, 1896. Jacob Theodore Geiger died Jan. 12, 1893. William Geiger died Jan. 21, 1897. Anna Geiger died August 20th, 1899. John Luther Geiger died June 18th, 1917, age 64 Arnold L. Geiger died May 15, 1966. J. Thomas Geiger died June 29, 1966.
