I have a couple of questions for our Swiss and German friends on the List: Have you ever heard of the female name "Wybehrt" ? Is the name still in use? Is there a pet name used with it (like Molly for Mary)? Our Wybehrt GYGER of South Carolina was born in 1718 in SWT. Evangelische church records establish her as female. And I've been asked if the Swiss name HABLÜZEL could possibly translate to something like GOLLMAN/GALLMAN in America? I don't think so, but want to ask the experts. Anne C.
