I descend from Johann Adam GEIGER (KIGER) and Maria Margaretha FIEDLER through their daughter Mary Elizabeth who was born on 13 July 1765 in what is now Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Somewhere there is a baptismal record attesting to that, but I have not seen it. She married John SPIES (SPEAS) about 1787 in what was then (now in Forsyth County) Stokes County, North Carolina. Mary Elizabeth had a brother named Johan Adam, born about 1767, and, until now, I had nothing more on him. 1736 is the date of birth on Johann Adam GEIGER that I happen to have, without parents being listed. I have him dying in Rural Hall, Stokes County, North Carolina in 1827. Maria Margaretha FIEDLER was born on 10 December 1747, no place noted, and died also in Rural Hall about 1819.
