An announcement appeared in the RootsWeb Review this week and has been posted in various other places, but just in case anyone missed it I'm copying it here. We expect to be back up and running in about 24 hours. The downtime will effect all of RootsWeb including mailing lists, GenConnect boards, and all Web pages. Starting at 8 a.m. PST Friday, February 23, RootsWeb will begin a planned temporary downtime for maintenance of its servers and hosting process. It will limit this downtime as much as possible, and will return with increased performance and reliability for future growth.
