Jan, I have Lavinia Kaigler as wife of Herman Geiger, Jr. and also have Margaret Theiler as wife of Herman, Jr. I have not located any children from the Margaret and Herman Jr. marriage. I believe that Lavinia Kaigler's parents were Andrew Kaigler and Katy Coppelpower. Andrew was born about 1730 in Germany and died about 1809 in Tennessee. Lavinia and Herman Geiger, Jr. were married about 1769. I do not know when Margaret Theiler and Herman Jr. were married. There is a second Lavinia Kaigler who married Harmon Horlbeck Geiger, grandson of Herman Jr., about 1819. According to some papers my grandmother left me, this Lavinia's full name was Rube Lavinia Kaigler Geiger, and she was born Feb. 15, 1800 and died November 11, 1852. This Lavinia is buried near Shadydale, Georgia. I do not know how, or if, the two Lavinia Kaiglers were related, but the age difference leads me to believe there were two of them. Skip Kitchens
