I don't know whether any of our "Southern Geigers" as we call them will have information that recent but I searched the Social Security Death Index online and found two listings for E. Geiger: E GEIGER 19 Nov 1904 21 Apr 1988 30064 (Marietta, Cobb, GA) 255-01-8338 Georgia E GEIGER 04 Dec 1921 Jul 1994 30223 (Griffin, Spalding, GA) 260-30-0313 Georgia Don't know if either would be the Elliott Geiger you are looking for but it might be worth checking out if no one has more information. The marriage record you are looking for would be a little recent I would think to be found online (although some states' vital records are online for recent years). You could try writing away for these records though.
