He is not my gg-grandfather Samuel who was the son of Jessie and Tobitha, and was born in 1821...and he probably would not be the younger brother of Jessie (b1793), Jeremiah(b1794), David(b1795), etc, first three sons of Abraham and Mercy, because he probably would have been too young(age 16 or less) to serve in the War of 1812... That being said, he might be a descendant of Hans Jacob, and brother to or son of Herman.
