There are 80 individuals listed and the very last entry has for years been transcribed as Thiger. After having stared at the name for years I have concluded the name is actually KIger, the mistake being made with the TH into a K.The entry reads; #80 Anthony Kiger, 100 acres, lies in the barrens, has some little wood on it, a field cleared of 12 acres with a cabbin... [Barrens is an 18th century term for land that had been cleared by the Indians by burning off the trees and developing grasslands. When the trees failed to grow back quickly, the land was thought to be barren.] I cruised around the web sites for Kiger, but found no Anthony, can you help??
