I think we decided that Elizabeth Menglesdorf might have married Rev. John Martin. Her father was the mayor of Purrysburg which was right across the river from Ebenezer. However, this would have been John's second (or so) marriage because it didn't take place until after James (b. 1756) and Mary Martin were born. I'll give you the exact date when I find my Ebenezer Record Book. So it would seem that John's first wife -- our ancestor -- is still a mystery.
