There is supposed to be a display for General Roy S. Geiger in the Orange Park, Florida library. His Biography, "Unaccustomed to Fear" is at the Clay County Library and Archives. There is a new school in the area and the naming of it has come down to either after the General or Fleming. Fleming is the area name and it was named after a local family as well. General Roy Geiger was a local and he achieved the highest ranking in the area as far as someone that was raised here. My dad and I may be able to make it out to this display next week sometime and I'll know more then. I am pretty sure he was from the Belmore area.
