She touched > the lives of hundreds of children through pre-school, Vacation Bible School, > and Eastside Baptist Church activities where she assisted her husband, the > Rev. Jimmy Gieger. Her love for her church family at Eastside Baptist Church > was evident where she has been a member since September 2000. She enjoyed > singing, teaching, helping with children's church and being a part of any > events where she could touch the lives of others and have the opportunity to > share her faith. > Her family was her life! She loved spending time with her husband, children > and grandchildren as well as her extended family. She enjoyed sewing, > cooking and just "doing" for her family and friends. > She was loved dearly and will be missed by all. > Mrs. Gieger was preceded in death by her father, Monroe Hill; her brother, > Jettie Harold Hill; and her sister, Sarah Gieger. > She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at First > Baptist Church of Sharon with burial in Sharon Cemetery. The Revs. Jimmy > Gieger, Charles Hill and Randy McCloud will officiate.
