Considering the time that it was written we should be happy we have it. The current Geiger decendants should be extremely pleased that we have so much written and documented about our fore-fathers and mothers. Most do not. The other side of my family, Speck, can not find any thing previous to 1773 and the early information is quite spotty. So be content that you have a true copy of the document and that one question has been settled-that Mercy is Mercy and not Mary. The document provides a wealth of historical information. John Geiger
