Gerry and Anne... Just another thought. Those Riesers came on the same boat to the US as the Bacher family. Also, the "Rester" family married in with the Denmarks--Stephens daughter Elizabeth married a Rester as well as Frederick Rester marrying a Denmark. Now Stephen is mentioned as the J.P. whose signed one of those land documents the included Felix Geiger. So the Denmarks and Resters were close and both known by the Geigers. In addition, Frederick Rester moved to Perry Co., MS. Believe he was granted some land or something. Ann Stafford, the daughter of Mary Geiger Stafford Huffman also ends up in the same place...married to a Travis, I think. Not only did these people live near one another, it appears that the families were interconnected in business, maybe marriage, ect. Looks like you may both be really be on to something!
