    3. How true! And I have a question for you, Roland: Can you tell us the exact pronunciation of GYGER in olden times? I know it was close to GIGG-ER (as in wig or big), but I couldn't get it right no matter how many times I tried. Most of our southern GEIGERS seem to pronounce it that way, in spite of spelling it GEI. Gerry GIEGER is the only one who "calls it as he sees it"!     3. Hi Anne, Am I the only one that pronounces it like it rhymes with "tiger"?? I know the ones the Ocala area today also make it sound like "tiger". I never heard it any other way.
