Would you please post Lewis's children to rootsweb, and do you have something telling you that Cornelius was born in SC? The date on the census indicates she was born around 1853...so I am thinking that this must be the daughter I could never find any info on. I think the fact one of her children was named Louis might be a clue as well. My computer took a dive a month and a half ago and I lost a lot of info. I am still piecing it back together. But I have Lewis's children, and his father Cornelius came from Ga, born in South Carolina.
