Geiger regarding his age, place of birth, occupation, and parents' places of birth? I looked through some of the 1910 and 1920 Census listings in Allen Co. and the only George I found was the 1920 listing for the George F. Geiger you mentioned earlier. Harriette is the head of household and he is listed as 'husband'. He was a cook in a restaurant at that time. There are not many George A. Geiger listings. I found one, age 21 in 1920, born OH, who was a soldier at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, MD. Or it could be that A. stands for Albert or Arthur and he's listed that way. There were several of those, assuming that he was in Allen Co. You may want to think about another way to go at this. You should be able to get copies of birth certificates for George A.'s children. Since they are born after 1908 you can go through the Ohio Department of Health, Vital Statistics. I would try children of both marriages. Hopefully this will get you at least two shots at finding marriage licenses. You will need to know the county in order to do this, but there may be parents, locations, ages and so on here. A death certificate for George A. is another possibility to consider. Regards, Richard
