There is no GEIGER born in IL in the 1910 or 1920 Census for Ohio - not one. Did not check alternate spellings though. Or perhaps he is still in Illinois. There are a couple listings in Clinton Co., which I see you posted earlier, ages off a couple years. What do you have on your George to help identify him, like his wife's name? Ruby or Dolly perhaps? Where and when was his earliest Ohio residence? And so on. Your local library may subscribe to HeritageQuest, which provides census information on line, if you'd rather do your own research. That's what I'm using. My Geiger line consists of the descendants of John Jacob and A. Catherine Geiger, who immigrated with their children from the area near Eppingen, Baden (close to Heidelberg), around 1825. They settled in SE Stark Co., OH, an area which was soon incorporated into the newly formed Carroll Co. I've pretty well wrapped things up except for a few early female siblings for whom I can't find marriages. I'll be glad to take another look for your George, if you like. Just need some way to tell that I've got him, when I find him.
