If the letter from Jacob Gallman was written in 1737, I don't believe Elizabeth Geiger could have been his son's wife if she were born in 1739/40. However, Warren found in some notes of his that one of Capt. Henry Gallman's sons, Henry Jr., names his mother in his will as Margaret Geiger, now married to Jacob Faust. This will is dated 1776. Another Gallman website: http://www.rongallman.gallman.com/genmain.htm lists Heiri as the 10th child of Jacob Gallman, and Capt. Henry (Heinrich) as 6th. It also listed a Hans Heinrich as 5th. However, if it is true that Margaret Geiger was the wife (first wife?) of Henry Gallman and he turns out to be "Heini", I wonder which Geiger daughter became the wife of Heiri? Warren is planning on finding out if the SC archives has a copy of Henry Gallman Jr.'s will so we can know for sure about Margaret Geiger. Jan Melton
