Hi everyone, here is a list of surnames I am researching in Wilkinson Co., GA. I look forward to making some more cousin connections. Of course, my main interest is my Carter line. I am primarily searching for information on a William Carter, b. Abt 1808 in SC, who married a woman named Esther or Easter. They had five children, Nancy, Sinah, Martha, Andrew and William. They supposedly moved to Wilkinson Co., GA and settled around Mount Nebo Church area. I have been told that there is a large Carter family cemetary plot near what was called "The Carter Place". Does anyone know anything about that? Or where it is located today? Sure could use some help finding where William came from. Can anyone help??
