Folks, since part of Twiggs was once Wilkinson and since I cannot locate a Twiggs list, I'm asking here and I hope you'll each be tolerant. I'm also sending a copy to the Emanuel list because I've seen KENT there before. In looking at the 1830 Twiggs Co., GA census posted on the web, I've located the following three heads of households and the people in their respective households. Can anyone tell me what the relationship between the three men is? Can anyone supply any of the names? Where these three were from? etc. I found no KENT members in the Brown census listed at the Twiggs website for 1863. By the way, can anyone shed light on why a census was done in 1863 and given a Brown gentleman's name? I assume Mr. Brown collected the information, perhaps for tax purposes? Many thanks to anyone who can help.
