Vol. 2, P.203 Roster of Revolutionary Soldiers in Ga. Raines, Robert, b 1766; d 1816 in Twiggs county. Served as Capt. of Company 4, 1st regiment of Ga. tropps of Georgia line. Married a Sarah Hamilton, b in Amelia County, Va, 11-28-1775 and d in Thomas co. ga. 7-13-1850 (daughter of John Hamilton born in Aelia county, va. 1747 d hancock county ga. 1805. Private in Ga. line. his wife tabitha thweatt, b va. 1747) Children of Robert Raines and Sarah John W. Raines Lucien H. Raines Robert H.
