My connection to Sheppard's is that my WATKINS line (Mitchell Watkins, Sr. b. ca 1740s Duplin/Edgec.Co.NC who came to Washington Co.GA 1797), came with sevl other Edgec.Co. families, including SHEPPARDs, which were in-laws ... one of Mitchell's dtrs marr. a Sheppard...... if interested, I can find the exact name for you.... think it was JOHN SHEPPARD.
