Wife Caroline Passmore, born 1850 daughter of John and Elizabeth Myers Passmore. Born after 1880 was David Cooper Leaptrot who married Margaret Hardeman Vincent. The 1830 census listed John Leathers, who married Mrs. Sallie Adams a widow. In 1840 Peter Leathers was shown. Peter and John were brothers. LEE The 1820 census listed Martha B. Lee. William Lee Sr. , who died 1828. William B. Jr. The 1830 census: Abraham Lee. Allen Lee. Lewis Lee, son of John and Elizabeth Stevens or Farrar Lee. Wife Jane Triplett, daughter of Francis and Radhael Brack Triplett. (Lewis move to Randolph county). Lovard Lee, wife Elizabeth McNair. He was a son of John. Lionel Lee, wife Mary Davidson. None shown on 1840 census. Lee families 1850 through 1880: In 1850 Harriett Lee b1802 in Virginia, a widow. She married Thomas Vann late in life. Emma married Leon Dennard. Fannie married J.W. Williams. Maude and Clifton died young. The 1840 census did not show John leonard. He was in county. LESLIE The 1840 census showed Silas Lesie Sr. wife Bethany Tyson. Jas. Leslie (one James Leslie married Elizabeth Bird in warren co. ga.) Not shown on census was John Leslie and Ambrose Leslie. In 1850 Silas Leslie Sr., born NC. No age given and deid 1852. Living with him was Silas Leslie Jr. b1821. He married Susannah Simpson. (**The section on LESLIE is not complete.
