    3. *HI ALL: I still have many copies of the HOLLYMAN FAMILY book, which was first pub. in 1952 by a distant cousin, George A. Holleman. I updated and had it reprinted in 1989. It is 375 pages long, fully indexed, hard cover, library bound, a nice book to have if you are a "Hollyman" (all sp.) descendant. I had 1500 copies of the book printed in '89, I sell them on a fairly regular basis, and still have many left. The genealogy begins with CHRISTOPHER HOLLYMAN who d. Isle of Wight Co.VA 1691 (and wife Mary (Gray?), with their several sons, and two daughters (both marr. Atkinsons), then the book continues from there, down to and including my children's generation on many lines. The orig. book done by George Holleman ended with my grandmother's generation; in the updated book, I used the entire, complete FIRST BOOK as the first part of the book, and added the Addendum, including my line and many others , updated down to 1989. Those of us who submitted current info, or corrections, additions, etc., have our names and addresses in the book, so if you see someone's name that appears to be related or have info on your kin, you can contact them. There are literally thousands of names in the book, and all, even non-Hollimans, are indexed. My line went from VA to NC to GA, but others went all over the U.S. Book also has many Wills, Census recs. of Hollimans (all sp.), 1790 Census of Hollimans, Black Hollimans, connected and non-connected to the family line. If someone is a Holliman, this is a book to have. It is also in the LDS FHL in SALT LAKE CITY, and can be ordered on film at any FHC anywhere. I do not mind anyone posting any info from the book.....I just want the info to be available to all who may want it. The price is very reasonable, will discuss if you email me. Just want to make sure any Holliman descendants know it's available, dont want to make a sales pitch here on the list. This book was a tremendous asset to me in my research years ago.
