Best, TINA/CA List Mgr. Tina, My Mackeys migrated to America in the mid 1700's John Mackey and his wife Ann Alexander Mackey were from Ulster Ireland. They had to my knowledge ten children, including my ancestor, James Mackey, and settled in Chester County, PA. From there went to Tenn and then later some went on to MO. I don't know specifically of any that went to Georgia, however, you should check with one of my distant distant cousins, Lee Brotherton, he has much more information about the Mackeys.
