In a land lottery (I do not know which one) Benjamin Jones, my gggrandfather, obtained 202 and one half acres of land, Lot #43, in the 4th District of Wilkinson County. Benjamin died in 1813 and Nathan Fowler, the administrator of his estate, sold the land sometime in 1815-1816.
