HI GERVAISE & ALL: I'm with you 100% Do you want me to go create a WYNN List at onelist.com, that will be JUST FOR THIS LINE OF OUR WILLIAM WYNN/SUSAN HINSON family??? I can do it in a minute! That way, we can really hone in on this particular line and get somewhere, hopefully. You, Gervaise, definitely have more info on this Wynn family than I do, or anyone I know of! So we do need to have a clearinghouse just for this family line. I'll run over to onelist.com and create it, and will make you and me co-Moderators, if you'd like, that way, you or I can do the Moderator stuff....although there isn't really much to do once it gets started. Will send you notice of it, and everyone else here on WILKINSON. Thanks for the interest in this, and I'm glad i"m not the only one who REALLY DOES WANT TO PURSUE WILLIAM WYNN! As you know, I also descend from WM. WYNN b. 1790 Burke Co.GA & Susan HINSON. I have SUSPECTED (but no actual proof) that Susan was d/o Wm. HINSON and wife MARTHA...a Hinson family in Burke Co. around the right time period. Not sure if I saw it stated somewhere, will see if I can locate. Also, I have SUSPECTED (again no proof, but this is a good time to check it out further), that WM. WYNN b. 1790 COULD BE s/o WILLIAM WYNNe & ELIZABETH ECHOLS. They were also in Burke Co. same time frame, and I think someone believes he is their son...but I can't give proof of it, so we still have some work to do. Of course, our WM. could also, as you said, be descended from the WM. WYNN , Frances Read Wynn line..... I'll get a WYNN list going and will tell eveyrone how to JOIN--ONLY IF YOU ARE DESCENDED FROM THIS WILLIAM WYNN/SUSAN HINSON (or related) line please. Best, TINA/CA List Mgr.
