Ellouise, I'm descended from William Wynn & Susan Henson on my maternal grandfather's side. Ernest Ferrell Thompson, my grandfather, son of William Columbus Thompson, son of Jesse P. Thompson, son of James Russell Thompson and Martha Wynn, daughter of William Wynn & Susan Henson. My maternal grandmother was the granddaughter of Letha Stevens Thigpen Wynn, by her Thigpen husband. Alice Allene Thigpen, daughter of Calvin Eason Thigpen, son of Redding G. Thigpen and Letha Stevens. Letha Stevens had at least 4 children by Redding G. Thigpen, and 2 others by William Wynn. I've been unable to find her date of death or where she's buried. My grandmother thought she should have been buried at Salem, but if she was, there doesn't seem to be a marker.
