Mary Davis is my gggrandmother. She was from Wilkinson Co. She died in 1907 and is buried in Bulloch County in the Brannen Cemetery. She died at her only child's home. The child was named Mattie Ann Matilda Davis who was married to Noah Hendley NeSmith. Mattie Ann was born in 1864.The story told in the family is that Mattie was an illegitimate child of Mary Davis. I do know that she was in several Orphan Homes during her lifetime. I feel Mary Davis was born ca. 1839 give or take a few years. I wonder if anyone searching the Davis line in Wilkinson has run across her in their line. Any information would really be appreciated. Some say Mary belongs to Henry Davis. I don't know. Bonnie
