Mary Jane "Janie" Dutton was the daughter of Zedakiah Eames Dutton and Martha Hagan. She married John Tommey "Tom" Lord on October 27, 1878. They had eleven children. Two of their daughters were Alvah Lorene Lord who married John Earnest Hogue (son of James N. Hogue and Amelia Clow) on October 7, 1919 and Mary Etta "Mamie" Lord who married Joseph Redric McCook (son of Paschal Othneil McCook and Lucretia Cornelia Davis) on January 6, 1901.
