There is a publishing company that publishes out of print books but I can't remember its name right now. Perhaps someone else will remember the name of the company. I ordered an out of print family history book a few years ago. They had reprinted it on slick paper and it was in soft back. IT still served its intended purpose. Hope someone else remembers and that this helps you. Also the state of Georgia has their library holding online. Go to http://pines.lib.ga.us Sign in as a guest and play around with it. It gives all holdings of the libraries. You have to stay inside the program to manipulate yourself around. IF you press "back" on your browser instead of inside the program, it will take you completely out and you will have to start all over again. It even has a function that allows you to print out a list of what you want to keep. This will give you titles, authors and abstracts just like a card catalogue used to do. Good luck. betty in ga ----- Original Message ----- From: <vnrowland@dnet.net> To: <GAWILKIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, April 01, 2006 10:20 PM Subject: History Books > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: STEVENS,LYLES,NIXON,KIRKLEY, > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/He.2ADE/1355 > > Message Board Post: > > I am looking for books written on history & families of Pulaski Co GA. > Anyone know where I may find a listing of such books &/or how I may obtain > them.
