April 12, bus tours leaving Irwinton for Allentown/Danville April 19, bus tours leaving Irwinton for Toomsboro/Balls Ferry April 26, bus tours leaving Irwinton for Ivey/Gordon May 3rd, bus tours leaving Irwinton for Irwinton/McIntyre. These bus tours are schedule to leave Irwinton at 10 am, but the one to Ivey/Gordon on April 26, could be set back from 10am to a later time. Please check ahead for the correct time if you plan to take this tour. May 31st, the coming together of all in County at Irwinton for the Grand and final celebrations of the bicentennial. A road race will start out at 8 am, parade at 10 am, a car show, speakers and ceremonies around noon. There will be arts and crafts, games and food vendors. Musical entainment throughout the day, ending approximately around 600 pm.. The public will go to the lower school parking lot down the hill from Irwinton on hwy 57 to be transported into Irwinton due to congestion and streets blocked off.. The main event will be centered around the Courthouse and on the old hwy 441 by Courthouse. Please keep up with the local newspapers, web sites for the latest information concerning these tours in the event that there are any changes.
