I've recently found out that a descendant of the Screven Co. Freeman family is going to do the DNA test for the file on Hope Freeman Carnicle's site at http://dna.carnicle.com If you think your Freeman may have come from that family the DNA will be on file, all you'd have to do is run the test yourself to find out if you match.
