Hi All: Once again I am seeking my elusive Johns(t)on family. Here is alittle about them: David Johns(t)on b. 1787 in Wilkinson County, Georgia d. 1852 in Plaquemines Parish, LA. He moved to Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana by the 1830s. He was a riverboat pilot. He married Hanna Frederika Hoffman in 1840. They had one son named Alexander Henry Johns(t)on. Alex married Magdlena Keissel (Sherwood) in 1863. They had 3 children: Walter Jarvis b. 1863, Hanna Caroline b. 1865, and David McCoy b. 1867. Does this family sound familiar to anyone? I have not been able to trace to any of David's siblings, but I do know that he did have siblings according to his will in 1852, none of them were still leaving at that time.
