W. Howell Ordination to the Ministry the Church made a Choice of Presbattry, J. P. Barrs, G. W. Floyd, J. N. Nobles to notify this Presbatry A. J. Scarborough, H. J. Howell, W. F. Nobles, Sinet Arnold. 3 November 1900 The Ordination of Brother W. W. Howell called and referd J. P. Barrs, J. N. Nobles being the Presbattry Brother W. W. Howell was Ordain the usual way. 6 April 1901 The Case of Brother ______ in a mistake that Mount Horeb has maid in not transferring his Ordination to this Church when he was dismissed Reference continued the Church appointed a Committy to rectify the mistak with the Church at Mount Horeb Breathern appointed H. C. Lamb, Sinet Arnold, J. G. Sanders. 4 May 1901 The Case of Brother Taylor Ordination not being transfured from Mount Horeb to this Church before he could be Ordained the Church heard the report of the committee and the Ordination was transferred the Church maid priperatin for the work the Presbattry G. W. Floyd, J. P. Barrs, J. N. Nobles. 1 June 1901 The Ordination of Brother J. H. Taylor to the Ministry Breathern set apart for that perpoe J. P. Barrs, G. W. Floyd, J. N. Nobles. Proceeded with the Ordination. He was Ordained. 7 July 1901 The Church at Cool Spring in Conference met. J. N. Nobles moderator for the [urpoes of granting the request of her Sister Church at Rutherfords M. H. that Brother J. H. Smith being their supply the inseuing year as Minister and also call a Presbattry for his Ordination thhe Brethern selected J. N. Nobles, J. P. Barrs, W. W. Howell. The Church appointed the Breathern to notify the Presbattrey Sinet Arnold, W. F. Nobles. 2 August 1901 The Ordination of Bro J. H. Smith called and refered. 3 August 1901 Case of Ordination of Bro J. H. Smith was call up &question him he ansered all questions satisfactory. Eld W. W. Howell asked the questions of our Faith. Eld J. P. Barrs examine him on the Scriptures. Eld J. N. Nobles then gave the Charge and presented him the Bible. The Church extended right hand of fellowship. 30 November 1901 The Church appointed a Committie to visit Pleasant Hill Church she being in disorder being divided into two factions the name of the committee J. N. Nobles, J. H. Smith, Sinet Arnold. 4 January 1902 The Committie was heard from and released that was from Pleasant hill. Bro Taylor and Wife Granted Letter of Dismission. 31 May 1902 The Church the request of her Sister Church Mount Ivey that of the Elders J. N. Nobles, W. W. Howell, J. H. Smith to visit that Church to Ordain Bro Mc Cook as a Deacon. 5 July 1902 C. C. Porter and Wife Sallie Porter By Letter. The Church heard the acknoledements of Brother J. Scarborough in reference to his case he promise that he will settle the debts by renewel of papers to give satisfaction and do away with the homestead. 6 September 1902 Case of Brother J. Scarboug concerning the Homestead. He would not take up the Homestead and the Church tested fellowship and it was lost and he was Exspelled from the Church. 4 July 1903. Written in at the top of the page: Last of J. N. Nobles Moderator. 3 October 1903 The Church recd statement from Brother Fountain in his case and postponed until our next meeting. 31 October 1903 Granted request of services of W. W. Howell and J. H. Smith for purpose of Ordaining W. T. Smith. 2 January 1904 Dimissed a complaint against Bro. Fountain for quitting his wife. 1 October 1904 Sister Bessy was Lamb Exspelled for unfaithfulness to her husband. 3 December 1904 Heard from J. H. Smith Case and he was Exspelled for general disorder. Case of Bro Arnold was called and posted. This entry&.nisdated Dec aught to have been in place of Nov. 31 December 1904 Heard from Bro Arnold the case dismissed. 4 February 1905 Bro W. F. Nobles to serve as a Deacon 4 March 1905 Bro W. F. Nobles Ordained by Presbytery J. F. Lord, W. W. Howell & W. D. Smith. 6 May 1905 Bro Scarborough Restored. Compiler Notes. All entries by C. C. Porter were difficult to read and I did my best to transcribe his notes as they appeared to me. 3 December 1905 Brother S. M. Fowler By Letter. 2 June 1906 One came forward, but was rejected. 6 July 1907 Sister Margett Demonia After making acknonledgementing of Her wrong. Restored. 5 October 1907 Sister Florence Jane Fowler By Experience. Brother E. H. Horn By Experience. 1 February 1908 Brother Homer Sanders By Letter. 2 May 1908 Agreed to hear from Committee from Pleasant Plains concerning offence of Brother C. C. Porter. Also on motion the Church made a charge against Bro C. C. Porter for falsehood and general disorder at Pleasant Plains Church. Refered the Charge against Bro Porter until next Conference. 6 June 1908. Case of Bro C. C. Porter was discussed and refered to next Conference. 31 July 1908 Case of Bro C. C.
