    1. Solomon Thompson
    2. Donali Howell
    3. Tina, these Thompsons would be Solomon (married to Cynthia McGowan) and his brother Jesse P. (my 2g-gf), sons of James Russell Thompson, son of the Solomon Thompson that Harold was referring to. Harold is seeking the parents of Solomon Thompson who died in Wilkinson County about 1816, leaving a wife (Rebecca Mitchell Thompson) and at least 2 (maybe more) children. The two I'm certain of were James Russell and a daughter named Mary Ann. Rebecca Mitchell Thompson married Aaron Davis in 1820, and died before 1840. There's been some discussion on the neighboring Emanuel County board about a line of Thompsons I tend to think might have been related, although I'm not sure how. Certain names which are common in our Wilkinson County line, such as Solomon, Preston, and Columbus, seem to also be common in that line, but whether it's coincidence or not I have no idea. May not be, since they are so geographically close, and it does appear that our Solomon might have had other children we don't know the names of. Hope this helps.
