Mattox shows him as son of Benjamin and Ann Elizabeth Bass Stanley and his wife as shown as Maxa Elizabeth Hall Stanley 6-28-1871 and died 5-12-1940, She was the dau. of William A. and Permelia Van Landingham Hall.
