Am researching Mary C. Whitaker, daugher of Richard Whitaker, that married Alphaus Beall..Is Alphonse a different spelling or person? She was listed as Mary C. Beall in the 1842 Will. There is a Mary C. Whitaker marrying a Alphonse Beall in 1849 in Wilkinson County. My Mary C. Beall was in Upson County and a widow by then. Help will be appreciated.
