We have, from an Uncle who didn't document very well, that Martha Caroline Hancock, b. 1823 in Wilkinson County, was the daughter of Joseph Hancock and Mary Brady. You might try this connection to see if it opens up anything new. She married William Peter Johns, son of Zephaniah Johns, they applied for land patents in Bradley County AR in 1859 and 1860, had 10 children and both died there. Their daughter, Samantha Johns married William Joseph Greenlees in AR. If you get anything new, please let me know?
