Library expands its collection of Family Bibles The Godfrey Library has added 45 Family Bibles to its collection this month. These Bibles contain genealogical data from families across the country. Over the next month we will catalog them and make them available to researchers. We will also include a list of the families in an upcoming issue of the Godfrey Update (print) to make it easy for you identify the Bible that you would like to research. The Godfrey Library is unique in that it preserves the original Family Bible. Most institutions simply remove the title and family data pages and destroy the Bible itself. If you have a Family Bible that you would like preserved, please send it to the Godfrey Library. ........................................
