At some point in time he/they went to AL where he married CATHERINE A. SMITH (possible daughter of John W. or Thomas Smith) on 29 March 1855. They lived and died in Chambers Co., AL and all their 14 children were born there. Their last child Ada, born 1877, married a man named Jones.
