    3. I'm kind of interested in the half-brother & half-sister here....they would be the half-brother & half-sister on their paternal side of my 3g-gm, Martha Wynn Thompson, and the half-brother & half-sister on their maternal side of my ggf, Calvin Eason Thigpen. I found Willis R. Wynn on the 1910 census in Laurens County, Dublin district, with a wife and 4 children, but was unable to find him after that. Apparently Queen Esther Wynn married young, but later married Samuel Asa Braswell....I had to wonder if he were a cousin and if that link might be the source of Braswell Wynn's name. Others may know the answer to that already. I still haven't figured out when William Wynn's 2nd wife, Letha Stephens Thigpen Wynn, died or where she was buried. If anyone knows, I surely would appreciate if you'd share! Mr. Wynn was known over Wilkinson and Lauren Counties. He was a large farmer, a man whose fields brought forth bountifully and who lived in plenty. He was the leading member of his church for so many years that many do not remember for how long. His home was famous all over this section for hospitality, and his own private character was marked for his religious activities, his general high moral conduct and principles, and his unfailing charity. Mr. Wynn lived all of his life, except during the time he served in the Civil War as a Confederate Soldier, at the place where he died, which was his father's old home. He was the youngest of 23 children by his father's first wife and all of his own brothers and sisters have preceded him to the grave. He was 85 years of age at the time of his death. 2. Hi, I have conflicting info on my ancestor Wm M Dennard. I am looking for a marriage certificate for Martha Veal and William Marshall Dennard or Denard. He gave her name as Martha Ann Veal, but I keep finding references to Charlotte Veal. Hoping if I can find a certificate of marriage , I will be able to clarify this. He said they were married in Twiggs County, but I think it could have been TWiggs or Wilkinson. He said he thought he married his last wife , Ellafare Jane Fountain Salter in Dooley County, but the copy I have says Liberty County. Would appreciate any help in solving this. Thanks Dot Skinner

    2. Can you furnish any first names?? There are many Christian's and Smallwood's listed in "Wilkinson County Georgia Historical Collections" by Maddox. I would be happy to look these up for you. ----- Original Message ----- From: <mjeancotton@earthlink.net> To: <GAWILKIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 05, 2006 9:00 AM Subject: [GAWILKIN-L] Re: Wilkinson County Cemetery Book (published in 1970's I think) > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: Christian, Smallwood, Dominy, Ussery, Bush > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/He.2ADE/1346.2.1 > > Message Board Post: > > I am researching the Christian and Smallwood families who lived in > Wilkinson County.
