Hello all, Does anyone know where the book "Our Kin: Dominy-Duncan-Ellington-Fordham-Miller" by Lanell Dominy Claxton may be purchased? With all of those names, I know it must have lots of Wilkinson County information. I understand that there are two volumes, and that volume two was out in 1993/1994 with over 700 pages. Volume one had 490 pages. According to the Library of Congress online site, the second volume was the 2nd edition rather than the 2nd volume. Confusing. Thank you, Jeanie Smith Zadach

Doesn't this site charge for searches or "found" names? Jean in Pa. ----- Original Message ----- From: TINA PEDDIE To: GAWILKIN-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Thursday, April 22, 1999 10:42 PM Subject: [GAWILKIN-L] GENDEX.COM *hi all: Just spent a little time over on the web at : www.gendex.com IF you haven't gone there, I encourage you to do so. I found a bit more info on some of my lines than I had ..... an extra couple of marriages I never knew about, which connected some families together for me. Anyway, just FYI ... ck. it out if you have time. Most of you prob. know abt it already, but if not, it's very simple (not a complicated one!), and shows names in Pedigree Chart format and Fam. Grp Sheet format. Have fun! *TINA/CA* List Mgr.

Doesn't this site charge for searches or "found" names? Jean in Pa. ** No, I didnt see anything about any charges for anything, and I looked up several names. Maybe you're thinking about another site.... perhaps the one I posted earlier.... KINDREDKONNECTIONS? Several of you have tried it, and it is kind of complicated ....not a simple site to get into. You can email them or call them at their 801# and they are very nice abt talking you thru it.... I did find a little info I didnt already have ...so was worth muddling thru. Next time it should be a bit easier. But not easy at first. (or maybe it was just me ..... and several others!!!<G> *TINA/CA* List Mgr.

RE THE KINDREDKONNECTIONS SITE: I had problems too, but called them and they walked me thru it by phone...even registered me via the phone...the FREE ACCOUNT. They can tell you about it, if you want to call them. Their 801 ph.# is on the first page I believe. >They are helpful, and I did find a few distant cousins' emails I can contact... >that was just one hour. I will do it again soon and see if it's still worth going on. > I think after the first few times, it will be easier! I hope! >Good luck! > TINA/CA
