    1. [GAWILKIN-L] Thomas Dixon
    2. Ann Toler
    3. ATT: Joy Bracewell - Hope you see this, I lost your e-mail address. Anyway, maybe it'll help someone else too! You wanted me to look up Thomas Dixon/Sallie NeSmith and Ira Dixon/Nannie Lewis in Maddox's book. There were a number of Thomas Dixons, but only one who married a NeSmith. Hope this helps. Thomas R. Dixon, b. 1848, wife Jane E. NeSmith b.1848, dauthger of Madison and Elizabeth NeSmith. Children: Thomas J., b. 1864 (m. Mary Phillips); Mary A., b. 1866; George M., b. 1868 (m. Eugenia Hall); John J., b. 1870 (m. Jennie); Benjamin G., b. 1872 ; Lewis J., b. 1874; Lee A., b. 1873 (m. Callie Dominey), Thomas R. later married Mrs. P. C. Dickens, a widow, and daughter of Noah and Easter Thompson McGowan. Other Thomas Dixons were: Thomas Dixon, b. 1823 (m. Francis Paine); Thomas Dixon m. Fannie Cannon; and Thomas Dixon, b. 1832 (m. Harriett) No Ira Dixon or Nannie Lewis references. I did find a Sallie A. NeSmith, b. 1874, daughter of John and Elizabeth Walker NeSmith, but there's no reference as to who she married.
